As it got closer, I realized that this was not merely a light, but a woman
The light that encompassed her filled the room
I saw that I was in a cave
with immaculate structures, stalagmites, stalactites, and a pond with clear blue and green water
This place, though I had never been, felt unusually familiar, safe even
It felt like home
The woman now stood in front of me
I could see the shimmer of her copper skin, millions of speckles of gold
She was an elder with centuries of knowing and seeing etched onto her face
I stared into her eyes and I knew her name
"Come my child"
I heard as she took me by the hand and led to a seat of stone
She sat me on her lap and took me into her arms
She rocked me like I was her child
No words were spoken
She knew what I needed, why I had called her, why she had come
My heart spoke, confessing that it was tired of a meager existence spent trapped and belittled
It wanted more for itself, for me, to be without barrier, to revel in the glory of Divine Love
"The answer is in your tears, she said. Let them flow and they will show you the path to freedom"
I began to cry, cleansing my spirit of ancient sorrows
As my rivers flowed, I could feel a cracking within my heart
I felt a surge of energy,
An opening, the ecstasy of expansion like I had never felt before
My heart revealed to me a brilliant light that spread throughout my body and encompassed me
I now remembered my truth
Hecate placed a kiss upon my forehead
"You are free"
