Black Femme Witches Brew (BFWB) was a response to what I saw as a whitewashing of Black magical traditions. It was the beginning of a journey to reclaim my ancestral wisdom, my own magic. I didn't want to walk the path alone, however. I knew there were other Black Witches who were also hungry for community. I sought out to create a safe space for Black Witches to connect, to co-create, and to share our wisdom. This is how BFWB was conjured.
My vision for BFWB, from the beginning, has been to increase the visibility of Black Witches and to unify our voices and work as conjurers and visionaries. The Black Witch Project is a campaign that amplifies this vision by providing a more accessible platform for Black Witches to share our stories.
